[04-09-2025] Two Injured After Vehicle Crashes Into Chase Bank Building on Standiford Avenue in ModestoTwo people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a Chase Bank building in Modesto on Wednesday afternoon, April 09, 2025.

According to the Modesto Fire Department, emergency crews responded to reports of a crash at the bank located on the 2900 block of Standiford Avenue, near Sisk Road, shortly after 3:00 p.m. Officials found the vehicle overturned inside the building and resting against the main electrical panel.

The vehicle had two occupants. One managed to exit the vehicle before first responders arrived, while the other was trapped and later extricated by firefighters. Both individuals were taken to a local hospital.

Authorities confirmed that the driver sustained major injuries, and the passenger suffered minor injuries. No injuries were reported among bank employees or customers.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Modesto Police Department.
