[04-10-2025] Woman Killed, Six Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at Highway 33A 21-year-old woman was killed and six others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Fresno County on Thursday morning, April 10, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 5:00 a.m., officers were dispatched on southbound Interstate 5 at Highway 33.

The crash reportedly occurred after one vehicle was struck and pushed into the opposite lane, triggering a chain-reaction collision.

The 21-year-old woman was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries. Six additional individuals involved in the crash were transported to the hospital and are recovering.

It is not yet known whether drugs or alcohol were contributing factors. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
