[04-11-2024] Ventura County, CA – 50-Year-Old Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle in Oxnard

A 50-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Oxnard on Thursday evening, April 11, 2024.

According to the authorities, the incident occurred before 8:30 p.m. between Third Street and Marquita Street.

A 25-year-old man was driving a Honda Accord when he collided with the 50-year-old male rider for unknown reasons.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to the VCMC. The Honda driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigations.

The authorities are determining if speed was a factor in the collision.
