[04-11-2026] Napa County, CA – Bicyclist Killed In Crash Involving Vehicle in Calistoga

A bicyclist was killed in a crash involving a vehicle on Dunaweal Lane in Calistoga, Napa County, on early Saturday morning, April 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 6:35 a.m. west of the Silverado Trail.

Authorities stated that the bicyclist was riding eastbound along the north shoulder of Dunaweal Lane. At some point, the bicyclist crossed over the eastbound lane and was struck by a Ford Mustang that was also traveling eastbound.

The bicyclist was ejected and sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency crews arrived shortly after the crash and began assessing the scene. The driver of the Mustang remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Dunaweal Lane was closed in both directions following the crash and reopened shortly after noon. The identity of the bicyclist has not been released. The incident remains under investigation.
