[04-12-2024] Stanislaus County, CA – Bicyclist Injured Following Vehicle Vs. Bicycle Collision in Turlock

A bicyclist was injured following a vehicle vs. bicycle collision in Turlock on Friday afternoon, April 12, 2024.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the traffic incident occurred at about 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Geer Road and Baylor Avenue.

When they arrived, police discovered that a pickup truck had allegedly struck a bicyclist as it was driving out of a parking lot. AMR was then called to the scene to transport the bicyclist to a nearby hospital. The extent of the victim’s injuries was not disclosed.

The No. 2 lane of southbound Geer Road was blocked as a precaution.

Further details were not immediately available, and the authorities are still gathering all the necessary evidence to determine the true cause of the incident.
