A 26-year-old male motorcyclist from Los Angeles County was killed in a rear-end collision involving an SUV in Brea early Sunday morning, April 13, 2025.
According to the Brea Police Department, officers responded to the crash at approximately 1:16 a.m. on West Imperial Highway near South Puente Street.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was not injured and remained at the location, cooperating fully with investigators.
Preliminary findings indicated that both vehicles had been traveling westbound on Imperial Highway when the motorcycle, reportedly moving at a high rate of speed, struck the rear of the SUV.
The BPD is continuing to investigate the crash.
