[04-13-2026] Santa Barbara County, CA – Motorcycle Rider Injured in Collision on Highway 101

A motorcycle rider was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with minor injuries following a collision on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara on Monday morning, April 13, 2026.

According to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, emergency personnel responded to the incident at around 8:39 a.m. near the center divider at Garden Street. 

The motorcycle and another vehicle were towed from the scene. One lane was blocked due to the crash, resulting in heavy traffic in the area.

By 9:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported that traffic had cleared. No additional information about the incident or the rider’s condition was immediately available. 

The investigation is ongoing.
