A man driving a Honda Civic sustained major injuries after allegedly running a stop sign and crashing into a Kenworth truck in Kings County on Wednesday evening, April 15, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Houston Avenue, near Hanford.
Investigators say the driver of the Civic was traveling northbound on 2nd Avenue when the Kenworth, driven eastbound on Houston Avenue, collided with the Honda after the Civic driver failed to stop for the stop sign.
The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
