Two men were killed after a pickup truck crashed into a tree in Garden Grove early Saturday morning, April 18, 2026.
According to the Garden Grove Police Department, officers responded at about 2:45 a.m. to the 12900 block of Brookhurst Street, just north of Garden Grove Boulevard.
Authorities located a silver 2009 Chevy Silverado that had veered off the roadway and collided with a tree for unknown reasons.
The 22-year-old driver was trapped inside the vehicle, while his 18-year-old male passenger was ejected from the truck. Both victims, identified as Westminster residents, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
