Two individuals sustained injuries in a single-vehicle rollover crash along State Route 98 east of Holtville early Saturday morning, April 19, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. when a Honda Civic lost control, veered off the roadway, and overturned. The vehicle landed approximately 100 feet from the highway.
Emergency responders transported both injured occupants to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.
Preliminary investigations suggest that driving under the influence may have contributed to the crash.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
