A two-vehicle head-on crash occurred on Highway 25 just south of Best Road in San Benito County on Saturday night, April 19, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol Hollister-Gilroy office, the collision happened at approximately 8:18 p.m.
Following an investigation, officers determined that both drivers were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. No fatalities were reported.
CHP officials used the incident to remind the public of the dangers of impaired driving. The crash remains under investigation.
