A male pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Bear Valley Road in Victorville early Saturday morning, April 19, 2025.
According to the Victorville Police Department, the fatal incident occurred around 12:56 a.m. in the area west of Mesa View Drive.
Emergency responders, including the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response, found the victim lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators stated that the man was crossing Bear Valley Road when a westbound vehicle struck him. The driver failed to stop and fled before law enforcement arrived.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
