A woman was injured after being pinned by an SUV while assisting with parking in Pacific Beach, San Diego County, on Tuesday morning, April 21, 2026.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. in the 4800 block of Mission Boulevard.
Authorities stated that an 84-year-old driver of a 2015 Cadillac SRX was attempting to park when he accidentally pressed the accelerator, causing the vehicle to crash into a 78-year-old woman and a nearby structure.
Paramedics transported the injured woman to a hospital, where she was treated for a broken thighbone. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
