[04-25-2024] Six People Injured, Including Children, After Two-Vehicle Collision in VictorvilleSix people were injured, including children, after a two-vehicle collision in Victorville on Thursday afternoon, April 25, 2024.

According to the Victorville Fire Department, the traffic crash happened at about 3:09 p.m. at the intersection of US Highway 395 and Eucalyptus Street.

Officers stated that the incident involved a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Chrysler Pacifica minivan. Witnesses told police that the van was traveling southbound on US-395 while the pickup truck was heading eastbound on Eucalyptus when they crashed into each other at the intersection.

A total of six people were confirmed to have been injured. The Dodge driver was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle when authorities arrived and needed minor extrication. The minivan had four of its occupants, including several young children, transported to various hospitals for treatment. Details about the sixth injured person were undisclosed at this time.

The Victorville Police Department is now investigating the cause of the accident and the factors that may have led to it.
