A three-vehicle crash possibly related to street racing blocked traffic in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on Saturday night, April 26, 2025.
According to witnesses and the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 8:38 p.m. at the intersection of S. Mission Road and Olive Hill Road.
Responding officers found a black Toyota Corolla, a silver Chevrolet Tahoe, and a third unidentified vehicle involved. A witness reported that a second car allegedly involved in racing left the scene.
The Chevrolet Tahoe driver, a veteran, was not involved in the racing activity and was rear-ended by the Corolla during the collision. He did not appear to be injured.
The crash initially was classified as a collision with unknown injuries, but was later upgraded to require an emergency medical response. It was unclear how many people were injured or the severity of their injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
