A 50-year-old woman, identified as Janelle W., was killed in a motorcycle crash in Livermore, Alameda County, on Tuesday afternoon, April 28, 2026.
According to the Livermore Police Department, officers responded at around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Isabel Avenue and Stanley Boulevard.
Authorities stated that the motorcyclist, traveling northbound on Isabel Avenue, failed to stop at a red light. She collided with a gray sedan turning left to travel southbound on Isabel Avenue.
The rider was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the sedan, an 87-year-old woman from Pleasanton, sustained minor injuries and was released after treatment.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
