Minor injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash in Jamestown, Tuolumne County, on Friday evening, May 1, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on Highway 108 at the 5th Avenue intersection near the Chevy dealership.
Authorities reported that a pickup truck and an SUV collided, causing the SUV to overturn onto its side. The wreckage blocked the roadway as emergency crews responded to the scene and directed traffic in both directions.
An ambulance was dispatched to the area, and officials later confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash.
The roadway was temporarily impacted for approximately one hour before crews cleared the wreckage and reopened Highway 108.
The investigation remains ongoing.
