Two people were injured after a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Riverside on Thursday afternoon, May 2, 2024.
According to the Riverside Police Department, the traffic incident happened at about 1:20 p.m. around the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Grace Street.
Police claimed that a 2021 Harley motorcycle was westbound on Victoria Avenue when it collided with a 2003 Dodge Caravan traveling southbound on Grace Street. Upon arrival, responders found the motorcyclist with major injuries. They rushed the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Dodge driver suffered less serious injuries. It is still unclear if the motorist was also taken to a medical facility to recover.
The cause of the incident and the factors that played a role in it are still under investigation. Further details were not immediately available.
