One person was hospitalized, while another was injured following a two-vehicle crash in Northgate, Sacramento, on Thursday afternoon, May 2, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the collision happened at about 3:30 p.m. on West El Camino Avenue and Northgate Boulevard.
The incident involved a white Tesla and a silver Toyota SUV. Police confirmed that two people were hurt; one was seriously injured and was taken to a nearby hospital, while the other sustained only minor injuries.
West El Camino Avenue and Northgate Boulevard were closed as a precaution. The roadway reopened just before 7:00 p.m., said the police.
It is still unclear what caused the crash. SPD is still investigating.
