A bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Sacramento’s Mangan Park neighborhood on Monday morning, May 5, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:32 a.m. on 24th Street near 32nd Avenue.
Authorities said the bicyclist, a man, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and remained in critical but stable condition as of Monday evening.
Officials reported that the vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived.
The crash remains under investigation.
