[05-06-2025] Woman Killed After Falling and Being Struck by Car in Gas Station Parking Lot in UkiahA woman died after she fell and was struck by a car in a gas station parking lot in the 1100 block of Airport Park Boulevard in Ukiah on Monday afternoon, May 6, 2025.

According to the Ukiah Police Department, the incident was reported shortly after 3:00 p.m.

Emergency personnel arrived to find the woman lying in a parking stall in front of a business. She was given medical aid at the scene and later airlifted to a trauma center.

The woman succumbed to her injuries the following morning. Her identity has not yet been released.

Police said the woman had stumbled and fallen just before the collision. While she was on the ground, a driver attempting to park unintentionally struck her. Although the incident was initially reported as a hit-and-run, officers confirmed that the driver remained at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
