Three people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Chula Vista on Tuesday night, May 7, 2024.
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. at Hilltop Drive and Oxford Street.
CVPD said that the driver of one of the vehicles involved, a black Scion, ran away from the site of the accident immediately following the collision.
A total of three people got trapped inside the wreckage and were all taken to local hospitals after being extricated. The extent of the injuries sustained by the victims was not disclosed.
The hit-and-run driver is still at large at the time of this writing. Police have yet to release an official description of the suspect.
