Two people were injured in a crash involving a big rig carrying gravel and another vehicle in Sacramento on Thursday morning, May 8, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the collision occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Excelsior Road and Jackson Road.
Emergency responders arrived and transported both injured individuals to the hospital for treatment. Their current conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
