A pedestrian sustained major injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Forestview Drive in South San Francisco on Saturday night, May 10, 2025.
According to the South San Francisco Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Forestview Drive.
The pedestrian was struck by a Dodge Charger that was reportedly being driven recklessly. The victim was transported to a trauma center for treatment of major injuries.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Abraham A., allegedly fled the scene. Police in San Bruno and Menlo Park initiated two separate pursuits on Highway 101, but both were canceled due to safety concerns.
The suspect was arrested on May 11 in connection with the hit-and-run. The incident remains under investigation.
