A woman was critically injured in a dog attack in Oroville on Thursday afternoon, May 15, 2025.
According to the Oroville Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:55 p.m. reporting a dog attack in the 3200 block of Burlington Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the woman with multiple bite wounds to her neck and arms.
Officers provided medical aid until emergency personnel arrived. The woman was then transported by Life Flight helicopter to a nearby trauma center, where she remains in critical condition.
The Oroville Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the attack.
