[05-16-2025] Crash Blocks Highway 50 On-ramp from X Street in Sacramento, Medics RequestedA crash involving at least two vehicles blocked an eastbound Highway 50 on-ramp from X Street in Sacramento on Friday evening, May 16, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at approximately 9:55 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

As of 10:08 p.m., at least one eastbound lane of Highway 50 remained blocked due to the crash. It is currently unclear if any injuries were sustained, but CHP logs confirmed that medics were requested to assist at the scene.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
