[05-18-2024] Six People Hospitalized After Three-Vehicle Collision Along Highway 4 in AntiochSix people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision in Antioch on Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic incident occurred at around 1:24 p.m. along the westbound lanes of state Highway 4 near Somersville Road.

CHP reported that six ambulances were called to the scene to transport a total of six people. All injuries were said to be minor, and no fatalities were recorded. None of the injured individuals were identified yet by the authorities.

The circumstances behind the crash remain unclear, but one car was found upside down. The authorities are still looking for clues or testimonies to determine the cause of the accident and the factors that may have led up to it.
