A man was struck and killed after jumping from an overpass onto the southbound lanes of Highway 101 in San Jose on Monday morning, May 19, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just before 5:00 a.m. near the Oakland Road overpass.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the man jumped from the overpass and was struck by at least one vehicle.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene following the collision.
No additional details have been released at this time. The incident remains under investigation by the CHP.
