[05-21-2026] Solano County, CA – One Killed, Another Critically Injured in Crash in Vallejo

A  62-year-old Vallejo man driver was killed, and a passenger suffered critical injuries following a rollover crash on Highway 37 off-ramp in Vallejo on Thursday evening, May 21, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported shortly after 6 p.m. when a white Nissan Murano exited Highway 37 at Auto Mall Parkway.

Authorities stated that the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and driving recklessly before losing control. The SUV then went down an embankment and overturned.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released. An older male passenger sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
