A traffic collision on eastbound State Route 58 at the county line in Kern County left at least one person with major injuries on Saturday evening, May 24, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. near the top of the bell curve on the eastbound side of the highway.
The incident was initially reported as a minor collision but was later upgraded to a major injury crash. Authorities have not confirmed how many vehicles or individuals were involved.
