A mother and her child were injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Saturday evening, May 24, 2025.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded at around 6:20 p.m. to the intersection of 31st Avenue and Clement Street in the Outer Richmond neighborhood, where they found both victims.
Witnesses reported that a white SUV struck the child, who was riding a bicycle, along with her mother, and then fled the scene without stopping.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
