Two people were injured in a rollover crash involving a suspected drunk driver in Novato on Sunday morning, May 25, 2025.
According to the Novato Police Department, the incident occurred around 3:19 a.m. near the railroad crossing on Hamilton Parkway.
Authorities arrived to find an overturned sedan. The occupants, who had managed to exit the vehicle before emergency crews arrived, suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver, identified as a 31-year-old Novato man, was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
He was arrested at the hospital and later booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI causing injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
