[05-27-2024] At Least One Person Killed Following Two-Vehicle Collision Along Santiago Canyon RoadAt least one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Santiago Canyon, Orange County, on Monday afternoon, May 27, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5:09 p.m. along Santiago Canyon Road. 

Authorities stated that the crash involved two vehicles, including a red Honda Civic and a white Honda CRV. Possible serious injuries were initially reported, and further investigation showed the collision resulted in a fatality. At least one person was killed, and the number of injured people remains unclear. 

No additional details were available on how the collision occurred. Emergency services, including Station 1 and CHP units, were requested at the scene to gather evidence and determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
