A passenger was killed after a vehicle left the roadway and crashed in California City, Kern County, on Thursday morning, May 28, 2026.
According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred around 7:57 a.m. in the 7000 block of Walpole Avenue.
The deceased passenger was identified as 68-year-old Gabriel J. Sr. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
