At least one person sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash that caused significant traffic delays on southbound Interstate 5 near Laval Road in Bakersfield on Thursday morning, May 29, 2025.
The California Highway Patrol stated the incident occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m., prompting the closure of the two left lanes at the crash site.
Authorities have not released information regarding the cause of the crash. Emergency personnel responded to assess injuries, which were reported as minor.
