[06-01-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision with Car in Morgan Hill

A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a car in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, on Monday evening, June 1, 2026.

According to the Morgan Hill Police Department, the crash occurred around 6:25 p.m. at the intersection of Monterey Road and East Middle Avenue. 

Authorities stated that the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local trauma center, where he remained in critical condition as of Tuesday.

Officials noted that the collision ignited a small grass fire, which was quickly extinguished by the Morgan Hill Fire Department.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and police have not determined whether alcohol or drugs were factors.
