Two people sustained minor injuries after their car crashed into Whiskeytown Lake near the Whiskeytown Dam in Shasta County early Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. Both individuals inside the vehicle were able to exit the car safely and were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
