One person was killed following a two-vehicle collision involving at least one big rig near Yermo, San Bernardino County, on Wednesday afternoon, June 5, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:47 p.m. on Freeway 15, east of the unincorporated county community of Yermo.
Authorities stated that the collision involved a big rig and a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Upon their arrival, one person was found inside the pickup truck, suffering from critical injuries with weak life signs. The paramedics performed life-saving measures, but that individual was later pronounced dead at the scene.
