[06-05-2026] Fresno County, CA – Woman Injured, Man Arrested for DUI After Crash in Clovis

A woman was hospitalized, and a man was arrested following a single-vehicle crash in Clovis on Friday evening, June 5, 2026.

According to officials, the collision occurred around 5:45 p.m. on Shaw Avenue near Locan Avenue. 

Authorities stated that 61-year-old Albert R. was driving eastbound when, for unknown reasons, his car left the roadway, struck a fence, and rolled multiple times into a nearby field.

Both the driver and a female passenger were rescued from the vehicle by fire department personnel. 

The passenger sustained moderate injuries, while the driver suffered minor injuries. Authorities reported that he was believed to be under the influence and was arrested for felony DUI.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
