[06-06-2026] Santa Cruz County, CA – One Seriously Injured in Five-Car Crash on Highway 1 Near Rio Del Mar

One person was seriously injured following a five-vehicle collision on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on northbound Highway 1, just south of Freedom Boulevard near Rio Del Mar.
