A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, on Friday afternoon, June 7, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the pedestrian vs. vehicle incident occurred at about 4:00 p.m. along Fulton Avenue near Alta Arden Expressway.
Authorities confirmed that the pedestrian suffered critical injuries as a result of the collision. The still-unnamed victim was taken to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, there is still no update on the victim’s identity and current condition.
It remains unknown how the crash occurred and what the victim was doing on the roadway at the time of the accident.
Multiple lanes of Fulton Avenue were blocked momentarily as the authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
