One person was killed after a two-vehicle collision near Phelan, San Bernardino County, on Friday afternoon, June 7, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:00 p.m. along Highway 138 at Rancho Del La Garto.
Authorities stated that the collision involved a quad motorcycle and an SUV. The rider of the quad motorcycle sustained severe head injuries and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. The victim was later pronounced dead due to the severity of the injuries. Information on the identity of the deceased was not disclosed by the authorities.
