Two people were injured after a motorcycle vs. vehicle hit-and-run collision near Corning on early Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024.
According to the responding officers, the crash happened before 3:00 a.m. on Everett Freeman Way near Interstate 5 in front of Rolling Hills Casino.
Authorities said that a man and a woman on the motorcycle were struck by a vehicle on Everett Freeman Way. Both sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital for immediate medical treatment. Their names, age, and place of origin were not immediately known.
Police said that the suspect who drove the vehicle fled the scene and failed to ask for a rescue. Details on the description of the driver as well as the make or model of the suspect’s car, were not disclosed at this time. It is also unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role.
