A pedestrian was injured following a hit-and-run collision in Florin, Sacramento County, on Thursday evening, June 13, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian vs. vehicle crash happened at about 7:50 p.m. along Florin Road, just south of Morrison Creek.
Upon arrival, officers found the pedestrian with unspecified injuries after getting hit by a vehicle that fled the scene without calling for help. The victim’s name, age, gender, and current condition were not released as of yet.
The authorities have not yet released an official description of the suspect or the vehicle involved.
CHP warned other motorists to avoid the area as much as possible to avoid heavy traffic delays.
