An 80-year-old man was arrested following a DUI crash that injured a child in Corralitos, Santa Cruz County, on Friday, June 13, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was involved in a collision that left a 9-year-old child injured. The suspect fled the scene before being located and apprehended by responding officers.
Authorities said the Corralitos resident was arrested on charges of felony DUI and fleeing the scene of a crash.
The child sustained minor injuries and is reportedly recovering, according to CHP.
The investigation is ongoing.
