[06-14-2024] Three People Injured After Fiery Three-Vehicle Collision in El CentroThree people were injured after a fiery three-vehicle collision in El Centro on Friday morning, June 14, 2024.

According to the El Centro Fire Department, the traffic crash happened at about 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Dogwood Road and Ross Avenue.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered that three vehicles were involved. One had caught on fire, while the other had reportedly hit an electric pole. The circumstances behind the crash, including the make or model of the three vehicles involved, remain unclear.

Three people were said to be hurt in the incident. One was transported to a nearby hospital to recover, while the other two were treated on-scene. Firefighters were also quickly able to contain the fire. They confirmed that the fire caused no additional injuries.

Everyone involved is expected to recover fully. Further details were not immediately available, and the authorities are still gathering all the necessary information to determine the cause of the vehicular accident.
