[06-14-2024] Ventura County, CA – Male Motorcyclist Killed After Getting Hit by Vehicle in Thousand Oaks

A male motorcyclist was killed after getting hit by a vehicle in Thousand Oaks late Friday night, June 14, 2024.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal motorcycle vs. vehicle collision happened at about 11:06 p.m. at Westlake Boulevard and Hillcrest Drive.

Upon arrival, responding deputies found the rider unconscious with severe crash injuries. They performed CPR on the victim while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. The victim was then rushed to Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where he was declared dead soon after.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin. As of now, the only description the authorities can give about the deceased rider is that he is from Oxnard.

Further details regarding the other vehicle involved, including its make or model and whether its driver remained on the scene or not, remain undisclosed.

The cause of the collision and the factors that may have contributed to it are still under investigation. More information will be provided as they become available, says the authorities.
