[06-14-2025] Woman Hospitalized After Felony Hit-and-Run During Protest on University AvenueA woman was hospitalized with significant injuries after being struck during a felony hit-and-run incident at a protest in downtown Riverside on Saturday night, June 14, 2025.

According to the Riverside Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of University Avenue and Orange Street during the “No Kings” protest. 

Social media footage captured the moment a black vehicle turned aggressively toward the crowd and struck the woman before speeding off. 

The injured protester was transported to a hospital and last reported to be in stable condition. Police have not confirmed whether other individuals were injured in the incident.

Authorities have not yet released a suspect description. An active investigation and search for the suspect are ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Riverside Police.
