[06-14-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – One Killed, Several Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in San Jose

One person was killed, and several others were injured following a two-vehicle collision in San Jose early Sunday morning, June 14, 2026.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. at the intersection of Naglee and Park avenues.

Authorities reported that a tan Buick sedan, driven by an individual allegedly being pursued by police, collided with a gray Toyota sedan. The Buick was southbound on Park Avenue and reportedly ran a red light, striking the northbound Toyota.

A woman passenger in the Buick was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Buick suffered major injuries and was arrested before being transported to a hospital. Two women in the Toyota sustained minor injuries and were treated at a hospital.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash and are asking anyone with information to contact the San Jose Police Department or submit an anonymous tip through Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers.
