[06-19-2024] Juvenile Cyclist Injured After Being Hit By Vehicle Along North Palm Street in Turlock A juvenile cyclist was injured after being hit by a vehicle in Turlock on Wednesday afternoon, June 19, 2024. 

According to the Turlock Police Department, the crash happened around 4:33 p.m. on N. Palm Street and E. Olive Avenue. 

Authorities stated that a cyclist, identified as a man, was riding on his bike when they were struck by an unspecified vehicle. The rider sustained minor injuries but refused to be transported to the hospital. Still, the police urged the victim to go to the hospital since no one could get ahold of his parents. 

The name and age of the victim were not immediately known. It is unclear whether drugs, alcohol, or speeding played a role. As of this writing, the cause of the crash has not yet been released by the police. 

Additional details on the collision have yet to be disclosed by the authorities. 

Investigations are ongoing.
